In October 2009 we came across a new reality that was landing in Europe, the EuroCloud<\/a>, we noticed the non-existence of Italy and proposed ourselves as part of the founders of EuroCloud Italy.<\/p>\n

Then there were three of us:<\/p>\n

Francesco Mondora of Sensible Cloud<\/p>\n

Andrea Rivetti of TopIX<\/p>\n

Fabio Cecaro of VMengine<\/p>\n

Since then we have grown and yesterday hosted by Bocconi University in Milan in the new Grafton Building we defined the statute, initiatives and members of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by:<\/p>\n

– Francesco Mondora (Sensible Cloud) (President)<\/p>\n

– Giorgio Betti (Sales & Marketing Manager at Kite)<\/p>\n

– Wladimir Bedin (President aKite)<\/p>\n

– Fabio Cecaro (VMEngine)<\/p>\n

– Andrea Rivetti (Program Manager Topix)<\/p>\n

– Eddie Budgen (Sensible Cloud)<\/p>\n

– Francesco Sacco (Managing Director and Professor at Bocconi)<\/p>\n

– Lorenz Baerman (Baerman KM)<\/p>\n

– Emanuele Arpini (Platform Evangelism Microsoft)<\/p>\n

The activity of the EuroCloud, which can be summarized in an evangelization of the use and correct knowledge of Cloud Computing, fits very well with our previous initiative of the AWS User Group Naples<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the contacts with the CloudCamp<\/a> organization are between us and maybe, as was our intention, an event can soon be organized in Naples, right in the City of Science.<\/p>\n
